of many names

Your realm be within us

as it is without us

so that your will may be embodied

in our thinking and our living

may the needs we have be met

so we don’t get trapped

in shallow desires

but

forgive us if we fail

so we may learn to forgive others

liberate us from oppression

into your realm of freedom

 

Father-Mother, God
Your name be hallowed
your way be followed through all of your creation
May your bread be shared among us
and your forgiveness absolve us
as our forgiveness shall absolve those who wrong us
Let us not fall from your way
but be borne in safety
with you –
in your eternal glory

Wholly one of us-

our highest aspiration;

Your name is haven, shelter and protection.

Give us our daily sustenance;

make allowance for our many failures;

as we allow for the failings of others.

Strengthen us against our weaknesses;

give us endurance to face setbacks and

help us to challenge oppression;

for in you is our freedom,

and yours is the glory –

for ever and ever.
